Guam Flag
Consisting mostly of a deep blue color with a red border, the Guam flag
prominently displays the Seal of Guam in the center of the flag.
Guam Flower
The official flower for the island of Guam is the bougainvillea spectabilis,
also known as the Puti Tai Nobiu in Chamorro.
Guam Bird
The ko'ko bird, or Guam rail, is the official territorial bird of Guam and is
endemic to the island, which means it can only be found on Guam. It is a
flightless bird and is also on the endangered species list of Guam.
Guam Song
Known as the "Guam Hymn" or "Fanohge Chamoru" in Chamorro, the official song
of Guam was written by Dr. Ramon Sablan and adopted in 1919.
Guam Weather
Being located very near the equator, you can expect the weather on Guam to be
very hot and humid throughout most of the year. Like any other tropical island
it is always either very hot or very rainy. The rainy season on Guam is
usually around the middle to late months of the year, and the dry season is
usually around the beginning months of the year. Temperatures in Guam
range from the mid 70s to 90s all year around.
